Mathis Mentor Program
In response to an increasing demand for mentors for at-risk youth, Mathis Foundation for Children established the Mathis Mentor Program to provide compassionate support and respect to at-risk students that do not have additional financial needs.

Similar to the Mathis Scholarship/Mentor Program, the Mathis Mentor Program provides mentors specifically selected to compliment each student’s interests and needs.

Each mentor is selected for his/her desire to have a long-term relationship with a student, to respect and accept the student’s special needs and challenges, to be dedicated to the mission of the program and to participate in ongoing training and Mathis Foundation projects.

With support from mentors, Mathis students receive leadership and guidance to assist them in their educational career.

For additional information about becoming a mentor, contact Mathis Foundation for Children.
